Jab & Cross Punch

To hit a jab one has to keep the other hand for the protection from a counter attack and then get ready to hit a cross punch by giving a twist to your back foot. While doing a jag quickly pull your hand back to protect yourself at the time of cross punch. Tis rule is applicable to all the four types of punches.

Hook Punch

While performing a Hook Punch keep your shoulder a bit high and punch from your guards, which will restrict your enemy to reach your body which is a drawback of this movement. To perform this act properly one have to do homework with the elbow first.

Uppercut Punch

While doing an uppercut, aim towards the chest or chin of your opponent, and make your elbow tight in order to protect your side. The feet are the actual power providers to the punch . it more like hitting a nail by the hammer where the power is all put at the end and it gets transferred into the whole body of the nail.

Elbows

These are the strongest areas in a body and always make a very effective hit. Boxers are the ones who make an optimum use of these parts of the body. By keeping the elbow tight to your arm pit can be a protector at times and also help in making the hook punch better and more effective.

Knees

A knee attack can be made even without a hold on your opponent. While making this short concentrate more on putting the force forward and not upward. This will lead to a better knee short and an improvement in the flexibility of hips and movement of kicks.

Martial Arts is a lot more than a lesson of discipline, it also prepares one for the combat. The movements of martial arts not just look impressive but also have a motive to help oneself if he/she encounter`s any combat. When a stage comes, which makes you confident enough to use your martial arts skills during a combat then you will be able to coach and develop your skills in martial arts.

As per the Roman Mythology “Mars is the planet of war” and martial art literally meant to be ‘the art of Mars.’ In intense combat situations one should be ready to invest in the equipments of martial arts for train. When it comes to women to learn this art, some of the cultures pucker their eyebrows, but some cultures it is widely accepted. For example, in the ancient Japan wives of the samurai`s were compulsory to learn this art as they had to protect their family when their husbands were not home.

The skills of Martial arts can be prioritized into different types which can help in understanding the type of martial art equipment one should need. If one wants to use an equipment to attack then, Chinese equipment called ‘Wooden Dummy’ is the right choice. This equipment helps to train one`s mind to make out the possible angles of attack. For an expertise in kicking one should it is really essential for the fighters to use equipments like mouth guard and head-guard. Special equipment that is required by the male jins is a crotch guard or a sport cup in order to avoid an injury at the areas near genitals. Basic equipments to protect chest are used in amateur matches and Olympic matches. In reality such equipments are generally not used hence they train the martial arts learners to face the hits during combats.

Chinese Martial Arts is a bit different from the western martial arts due to the use of different martial arts equipments. These equipments should be used and chosen with great care as these are the onse that can make you a good and competitor fighter in the end.
