While studying martial arts one is struck with randomness of the art form. On studying the randomness one may discover that the form of art increases with age. The longer it has been around us the better form of art it is considered. The fact is that whenever a new martial art style is developed it is done along the lines of logic. So with the advent of time if the art is not utilized for combating hem it tends to fade out. Logic here begins to leave the art form. Karate is a form that is still used in a number of tournaments. So the fact is that it still retains all of its basic values. So the students of karate are lucky to study two forms together. But this may not be the condition with other forms.

Practice of a particular form has a number of added advantage to it. It may help in developing mind, body and soul and may not be called as an endangered form of art. Combats may also endanger a number of students if the form is taken too far. The joy of combat also makes a number of martial arts exciting about the art form. Combat tends to reduce the discipline and calmness of the martial artist. Combating may be necessity but it should always be placed in the second level.

So, one should try to practice mixed form of martial arts and try to relate it to true combat situation by sparing. It may help you to analyze the form of martial art without the fear that one may get injured.
